Dive Forms

Pre-Dive Assembly

1. Analyze, pressure check, and label the oxygen and diluent cylinders.

2. Install both cylinders on the unit and verify correct installation.

3. Verify the millivolts from the oxygen sensors.

4. Verify youngest oxygen sensor & reading. Replace if needed.

5. Secure moisture absorber in inhale lung.

6. Install sensor and solenoid grid. Verify cables.

7. Fire solenoid & verify external battery > 6.5V

8. Inspect remaining time on scrubbers. Refill if needed.

9. Install scrubber canisters with TOP marker.

10. Inspect scrubber o-rings and sealant surfaces.

11. Close the cover hand-tight.

12. Inspect mushroom valves in mouthpiece.

13. Inspect mouthpiece o-rings and grease.

14. Install breathing loop onto unit.

15. Wrap HUD cable 3–4 times clockwise around loop.

Bevestiging

Bij deze bevestig ik dat ik alles heb ingevuld.

CCR CLOSED CHECK

1. Slowly open the oxygen valve…

2. Turn on the Shearwater…

3. Set the Shearwater setpoint to 0.19.

4. Perform three full oxygen flushes…

5. Calibrate the rEvodream(s)…

6. Calibrate the Shearwater.

7. Verify external battery voltage.

8. Inspect Shearwater batteries.

9. Close oxygen valve…

10. De-pressurize oxygen line.

11. Open diluent valve.

12. Breathe in any gas…

13. Add diluent manually…

14. Inflate loop orally…

15. Inflate wing completely.

16. Flush with air until ppO2 = 0.21

17. Close diluent valve…

18. Breathe in any remaining gas…

19. Analyze and label the bailout gas:

20. Verify cylinder pressure…

21. Inspect all connections.

22. Close bailout cylinder and check mushroom valve.

23. Program gases into Shearwater.

24. If test OK, turn off electronics.

25. Inspect harness, crotch & gag strap…
